If you were a rocker foo growing up in LA, chances are you've visited his shop to look for band tees, patches, studs, vinyls and CDs. We talk about what drives him, how he defines the punk rock ethos, and why he says he's not a rocker, but rather "just a normal guy".

In this episode, we have composer/producer/musician Carlos Cruz on the show! He's played with Power Trip, Fueled by Fire, Skeletal Remains, and Chris Poland of Megadeth to name a few acts. His main act Warbringer, just released a ferocious LP where you can hear Carlos bring the thunder on the drums. We talk about why Metallica > Megadeth, why Lars Ulrich wasn't the best drummer, and why when Power Trip comes a-knockin' for you yo play a show in front of 90,000 people you better answer!

In this episode, we have the distinct privilege of speaking with the galaxy’s grooviest creature: Tabby G.! Rockera, vegana, y extraterrestre de la linda Cuidad de Mexico. We talk about her crust punk days in Mexico City, smoking low-grade Panteon (Graveyard) Kush, the colorful and dangerous neighborhood of Tepito, as well as her becoming one of Mexico's first Suicide Girls! Last but not least, since this was our double “420” show (04/24/2020) we also get into her career in the marijuana industry. Spark one up and enjoy the trip!

In the second installment of our quarantine episodes, we have frontman of ACxDC (AntiChrist DemonCore) Sergio Amalfitano! This foo says he's a mocker, not a rocker. We discuss in depth what it means to really be "punk" and why Sergio thinks Bad Bunny is the most punk rock foo of all time. Also, we discuss cumbias, old school romanticas, grindcore, power violence, as well as being Vegan Straight Edge for two decades.

In this special quarantine edition, we finally get the chance to sit down and talk with world-famous foo #theglutster AKA Javier Cabral, editor of LA TACO, producer, & author. This episode was recorded entirely remotely, from 3 different locations, and streamed live via Zoom at the time of recording. We talk with Javier about why some tacos should cost more than $1, what he's doing during the quarantine during this worldwide pandemic, most brutal music he's listened to, how he went from metalhead to punk foo, and why "Wassup Rockers" (2005) is significant for LA foo culture.

  • In this episode, we have Erick Huerta, writer for publications like L.A. Taco, and Boyle Heights Foo-At-Large come on and talk about all things wrestling, while being a rocker foo. We explore why rocker foos like wrestling, how metal influenced theme songs, and who are the most punk and real OG's in wrestling, while also saying fuck you to WWE CEO Vince McMahon and LA City Councilmember Kevin De Leon.

EP 14 “EL PROFESOR IMPLACABLE”

On this week's episode, we sit down and talk about "rock en español" (even though he hates that term) with USC professor, historian, journalist, and curator of the @rockarchivola Instagram page, Dr. Jorge N. Leal. We talk about his stint as a rock concert promoter, his journey as a Mexican immigrant rocker foo, and his efforts to digitize and preserve the Latinx rock history of Los Angeles through flyers other ephemera (his words).

He tells us what it was like growing up in the 80's in the San Fernando Valley, drinking Natural Ice, the rocker foo lifestyle, and his philosophy behind Church of The 8th Day.
