In this one we discuss even more so songs that radicalized us and inform our political points of view. This felt especially relevant given the political climate of the US after the killing of George Floyd and too many black folk across the US.

In this episode we procure a playlist for the revolution, inspired by the LA punk band Vandalize who played live punk rock on the bed of a pickup through the streets of Downtown LA to keep protesters spirits up during the George Lloyd protests. We discuss several songs that were pivotal in our political understanding of the world we live in with our behind-the-scenes producer Eldrick Bone.

In this latest quarantine episode, we interview the legendary LA punk rock icon, John (Jean-Luc) of Headline Records! If you were a rocker foo growing up in LA, chances are you've visited his shop to look for band tees, patches, studs, vinyls and CDs. We talk about what drives him, how he defines the punk rock ethos, and why he says he's not a rocker, but rather "just a normal guy".

His main act Warbringer, just released a ferocious LP where you can hear Carlos bring the thunder on the drums. We talk about why Metallica > Megadeth, why Lars Ulrich wasn't the best drummer, and why when Power Trip comes a-knockin' for you yo play a show in front of 90,000 people you better answer!
